Fringe Fund

"Helping Fringe artists shine"

What is the Fringe Fund?

The Fringe Fund helps artists shine through a range of support, development and presentation opportunities including the most generous cash prize pool of any Fringe Festival in the world for award-winning productions.

Fringe Fund is an initiative of the Not-For-Profit cultural organisation and registered charity Artrage Inc. which produces the annual Fringe World Festival.

Launched in 2016, the Fringe Fund is one of the many initiatives managed by Artrage and the Fringe World Festival that have the future aspirations and success of artists at their heart.

Over $221,000 has been awarded to artists since 2012!

Where does the Fringe Fund money go?

In its first years, the Fringe Fund is primarily channelling contributions into the Fringe World Awards prize pool which is then distributed to award-winning artists and companies that present at the Festival.

There are longer term ambitions for the Fringe Fund that will ultimately be defined by the success of the scheme and the pool of donated funds.

Hello Sunshine

In 2017 Gage Roads Brewing Co. and FRINGE WORLD Festival came together to bring you Hello Sunshine. This is a cider inspired by a simple question: what would the perfect summer festival cider look like? We think this is it.

Part proceeds from every Hello Sunshine sold in Australia go to the Fringe Fund, helping artists shine.
